Sin Killing

Sin Killing

People often look at happy images of marriages on social media and say, “I want that,” but they don’t really know what “that” is. They think it’s the romantic vacations and long walks, but marriage is much more complicated than that. The real secret to a great marriage goes far deeper than just a hashtag. This series will define five goals that will enable couples to keep their focus on the right path for their marriage. This week’s goal is all about how to avoid allowing sin to kill us, our relationships, and those around us.

In Ephesians 4:17-24, Paul laid out four steps for us to avoid being killed by sin.

  1. Remember what you have learned.
  2. Get rid of your old self.
  3. Let your mind be renewed.
  4. Put on your new self.
